Mini Flotation Pilot Plant.

The device shall enable to continuously process smaller amounts of samples (down to 150 kg) with a mass flow of 5 kg/h up to 20 kg/h in a computer controllable way including sensing and acting devices. The feed material of the plant will have a top size of less than 3 mm. The plant shall consist of: — a wet batch or continuously operating comminution unit, i.e. ball or rod mill to produce the feed material (< 200 µm) for, — a slurry holding tank and a slurry feed tank to feed the, — continuously working flotation device with at least 12 individually operating laboratory scale cells (less than 2 dm3) which can be flexibly connected to represent different flotation circuit layouts, — a reagent dispensing system with at least sixteen precision pumps for automated dosing of flotation reagents to the individual cells and tanks, — a flotation column as a cleaner step with automatic level control, — a continuous mill for regrind after rougher flotation, — as well as a Data Acquisition System.
