Expert Pool for Technical Assistance in S.I.C. Project II

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development has commissioned the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to implement the project "Sustainable Industrial Clusters II (S.I.C. II / Environmental and social standards in the textile and clothing industry in Ethiopia III (eTex III". S.I.C. II is co-financed by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) of the United Kingdom The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the resilience of Ethiopia"s textile and garment sector amid macroeconomic challenges, thereby contributing to Ethiopia"s economic transformation. In this context, GIZ is seeking to commission a contractor that provides a pool of short-term experts which is expected to provide specialised advisory services in the following areas of expertise (1) Sustainability and Production Management, (2) Industrial Park Management and (3) Economic Development and Policy Advisory.
