81272683-Employment and Skills for Development in Africa (E4D) Tanzania

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development in cooperation with other co-financers has commissioned the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to implement the "Employment and Skills for Development in Africa" (E4D) program in Tanzania. The overall program objective is to improve the economic situation of job seekers, employees and enterprises in Tanzania in cooperation with the public and private sector. Within this context, E4D seeks to commission a consultancy/ consortium of firms to implement a measure under its enterprise development pillar referred to as Building Capacity of Small and Medium Enterprises to increase their turnover by successfully engaging in tenders. This measure aims to ensure that local companies are able to benefit from international investments by capacitating the Tanzanian private sector to compete and win (international) tenders. This shall be achieved by increasing HSE standards and practices as well as bid management capacities in selected Tanzanian enterprises to an internationally recognised level.
