81271090-SME and Cluster Support in Ethiopia's Agroprocessing Sector

The GIZ project is part of the Special Initiative on Training and Job Creation of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). It aims to improve the employment and income situation in Ethiopia's agro-processing sector by supporting and increasing the employment-effective growth of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the agro- and food industry. This tender seeks an international consultant to improve the capacity of companies; improve the entrepreneurial ecosystem in company's clusters; and strengthen the capacities of cooperative associations and private service providers addressing existing barriers to growth along supply chains, especially between farms and companies in the clusters. In case the project will have a follow-up beginning in November 2022, a follow-on contract will be possible. The tasks, necessary human resources and additional quantities will be comparable as described in this ToRs. Precondition: The contract for the follow-on phase is awarded by GIZ's commissioning party BMZ.
