81260164 — Communication Component of the project Sustainability in the Textile and Leather Sector in Bangladesh (STILE)

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development has commissioned the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to implement the project Sustainability in the textile and leather sector in Bangladesh. The overall objective is to strengthen public/private sector actors' capacities to fulfil their mandate/responsibilities to ensure compliance with social and environmental standards in Bangladesh's textile industry. GIZ is seeking to commission a contractor to implement one output focusing on encouraging textile workers to actively advocate for compliance with social and environmental standards. The contractor will be responsible to achieve the objectives specified in this output: 1) by using capacity development measures for workers/employers; and 2) by developing and implementing awareness-raising/information campaigns. The contractor is expected to provide international/national/regional experts with relevant professional/regional experience.
