Leistungsumfang
Beschreibung laut BekanntmachungSoutheast Asia (SEA) is one of the fastest developing regions in the world and one of the last places looking into the implementation of coal at a large scale. Despite huge renewable energy potential in the region, political and economic interests in the region continue to favour fossil fuels. Against this background, CASE intends to change the narrative in the power sector in SEA towards an evidence-based energy transition, aiming to increase ambition with regards to climate change. The programme aims to create evidence and tools that support the energy transition in the region as well as to communicate these outputs to relevant stakeholders and the general public to establish a public discourse about energy transition challenges and benefits. CASE is a regional programme (Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam) funded by BMU and implemented by a consortium, composed of a wide range of organisations and led by GIZ. Its secretariat is based in Bangkok, Thailand. The programme seeks support from a consulting firm that develops a communication strategy and implements communication activities in the four countries of the programme.
