81243598 — Inclusion of Roma and other Marginalized Groups in Serbia

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) is implementing the TC project ‘Inclusion of Roma and other marginalised groups in Serbia’ with the aim to support the Serbian government in implementing the national strategy for the social inclusion of Roma in the Republic of Serbia by improving the structures as well as corresponding mechanisms and social attitudes. The Roma minority is one of the most vulnerable and marginalised groups in Serbia, often suffering discrimination and a very high risk of poverty. Roma do not have equal access to employment opportunities and lack access to education, health care and adequate social protection. The assignment will be focused on the economic empowerment and employment of Roma, returnees and other marginalized people and implemented over a period of 30 expert months, with effect from the date the contract is signed until 30.6.2022.
