81232232 — Implementation of EnMS and EEN in Manufacturing Industries in Nigeria

The Nigerian Energy Support Programme (NESP) aims at enabling and fostering investments in the market for renewable energy and energy efficiency, and improving access to electricity in Nigeria. The programme is co-funded by the European Union and the German Government, and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing (FMPWH). During the first phase, NESP supported the Nigerian government in the adoption of an Energy Management System (EnMS) based on ISO 50001 standard as a Nigerian Industrial Standard (NIS) and the establishment of the first Energy Efficiency Network (EEN) for industrial enterprises in Nigeria. Now, in the second phase, NESP is looking for a multi-disciplinary team of international consultants who will support the implementation of EnMS and EEN in selected manufacturing industries in Nigeria.
