Beschreibung laut BekanntmachungInitiative ‘Hospital Partnerships – Partners Strengthen Health’. Hospital Partnerships – Partners Strengthen Health is an initiative to support partnerships between German health institutions and health facilities in low and middle-income countries. It was launched in 2016 by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Else Kröner-Fresenius Foundation (EKFS). Currently, 98 partnerships between German and foreign health care institutions are funded within the framework of the two funding programmes Health Partnerships – Global and University and Hospital Partnerships in Africa. The Initiative is conceptually supported by the German Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) and the World Health Organization (WHO). The aim is to sustainably improve health services in low and middle-income countries. The funded partnership projects focus on training and further education of health professionals, the introduction of technologies and equipment and the provision o.
