81217251 — Technical Cooperation with Support to the Technical and Vocational Education andTraining Sector in Pakistan (TVET III) / CBT&A.

Since January 2017, the TVET Sector Support Programme (TSSP) has entered a new phase (also called TVET III). It aims to support the Government of Pakistan (GoP) to enhance access, equity, relevance and quality in skills development through improved governance and private sector participation. Content wise, TSSP is being implemented through 4 cross cutting intervention areas: (1) Policy and Governance which covers the implementation of the TVET policy at federal and provincial/regional level, agreements of cooperation between the public and private sector, Quality assurance and management and accreditation of the TVET institutes. (2) Private Sector Participation in TVET which is focused on increasing the private sector participation in TVET related decision making at federal and provincial/regional level, establishment of sector skills council and strengthening employers led institute management committees. (3) Capacity Building of TVET Personnel/Human Resource Development (HRD) targets.
