The German Government, through GIZ, supports the implementation of the African Union's (AU's) Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP). The objective of GIZ's CAADP Support Programme is the effective and efficient implementation of the CAADP process at country level, coordinated and facilitated by the AU Commission's Department of Rural Economy and Agriculture (AUC-DREA) and the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency (NPCA).GIZ is seeking the services of a reputable international firm of consultants (or a consortium thereof) to provide long-term support (22 months) to the implementation of CAADP in close coordination with both AUC-DREA and NPCA. Specifically, the assignment will provide support to the domestication of the AU's 2014 Malabo Declaration on Accelerated Agricultural Growth and Transformation and, on the basis of this, to the review and formulation of new CAADP-based National Agricultural Investment Plans (NAIPs) in 6 to 8 AU member states.
