81221695-Support to Technical Assistance Facility for Grid Connected RE Projects and Techn. Assistance to ECOWAS Member States

The assignment is part of the cooperation between GIZ and the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) in the framework of the regional project ‘Improving the governance of the RE and EE sector in West Africa’, jointly financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union. It will cover the support to public and private stakeholders for the development of grid-connected RE projects in the ECOWAS region as well as country-specific technical assistance for improving the enabling environment for grid-connected RE in selected member states in the period 05/2018 to 12/2020. The consulting firm is expected to provide a pool of international and national short-term experts (STE): — a team leader (39 working days (WD)), — 3 to 4 technical RE experts (120 WD), — 1 or 2 legal experts (54 WD), — 1 or 2 financial experts/transaction advisors (54 WD), — 2 RE policy advisors (150 WD each).
