## Leistungsumfang

The project, implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and in partnership with the Ministry of the Interior of Morocco aims to strengthen the economic performance and to improve the employment situation of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) in remote areas of Morocco. To reach this goal and to address the key challenges of economic development, institutionalized dialogue platforms between the public sector, the private sector and the civil society have been established via the creation of Provincial Committees for Economic Development (CPDE). This innovative instrument has shown encouraging results and now needs support to further develop and ensure sustainability, with the aim to be replicated and extended to other regions of Morocco.
