## Leistungsumfang

In the framework of the project ‘Consolidation and Scaling Up of the Dual Education System in Mexico’ of the German Cooperation for Sustainable Development (GIZ), which supports the Ministry of Public Education to increase the number of students benefiting from this educational modality until 2022 and to seek that vocational training meets the requirements of the labor market, the present initiative is carried out to help fulfill the objectives of the technical cooperation program. The initiative aims to implement measures for the achievement of the overall project's Output 2 ‘The quality of dual education meets the requirements of the labour market’ and the partial achievement of Output 3 ‘The expansion of dual education is carried out on a regional and sectoral basis’. The project is therefore expected to have a positive impact on the vocational education and training of young people and to improve the productivity of companies by having qualified workers that meet their demands. This will result in a low rate of youth unemployment, improve opportunities and social mobility for young people and promote Mexico as an attractive place for investment, which will have an impact on the country's overall development.
