## Leistungsumfang

The project is part of the so-called: Initiative for Training and Job Creation - SIAB by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), which has so far been initiated in eight african countries. It contributes to the implementation of key BMZ strategies with the so-called Marshall Plan with Africa and the Compact with Africa. The new policy priorities for Africa are intended to contribute to the creation and safeguarding of high-quality jobs in Africa, above all by improving the conditions for more foreign and african investment in the partner countries by companies, including small and medium-sized enterprises. The project is aligned with Rwanda's key development strategies and contributes to their achievement. The project makes a direct contribution to the country's development goals. It is organised into three components (outputs): — investment promotion (the conditions for investments by african and european companies in Rwanda have improved), — SME promotion (the capacities of rwandan small and medium-sized enterprises with growth potential have improved), — Promotion of economic clusters (The entrepreneurial ecosystem in selected industrial zones has been strengthened). All three outputs/the work of the three components combined shall lead to more jobs, better working conditions as well as an improved entrepreneurial ecosystem. The assignment shall concentrate on output/component 3: promotion of economic clusters.
