## Leistungsumfang

We intend to award a contract for the support to the development of funding proposals to mitigate flood and drought risks in a Mekong head-catchment shared between Cambodia and Thailand. GIZ is supporting the Mekong River Commission, both in its efforts to protect the population from water-related disaster and the adverse impacts of climate change and in the development of hydropower in an environmentally friendly and poverty-aware manner in the Lower Mekong Basin. The MRC-GIZ cooperation program therefore, in continuation of its past support and in line with its current program objectives (Output 3: measures to mitigate the effects of floods and droughts in Cambodia and Thailand are planned jointly by neighbouring countries with the support of the MRC) is recruiting a team of international (2) and national (4) experts to assist with the development of funding proposals for flood and drought mitigation.
