## Leistungsumfang

Nepal's federalisation reform requires a reorientation of newly established local governments that have been given a central role in the provision of services as well as development planning and budgeting mandated by Local Government Operation Act (LGOA). The objective of the governance support programme is to strengthen 12-15 selected municipalities in 3 provinces in the participatory preparation of local development plans, the expansion of opportunities for the participation of disadvantaged population groups and the inclusive provision of services through capacity development as well as technical, organisational and process advice. The project is structured into 3 fields of action: — improving the framework conditions for participation of disadvantaged groups in selected municipalities, — strengthening capacities of selected municipalities for inclusive service provision, — improving conditions for disseminating approaches to inclusive service provision in municipalities.
