## Leistungsumfang

The objective of the GIZ Biodiversity and Forestry Programme is to improve the effectiveness to manage the Ethiopian biodiversity and forest resources by federal, regional and local institutions in consideration of the benefits to the local population. This tender seeks a partner to implement the project in 2 of the selected project sites (Chebera Churchura National Park and Sheka Biosphere Reserve). Core tasks include the strengthening of the capacities of the protected areas' management units, the promotion of income-generation through value chain approaches and the involvement of communities in conservation efforts and resource management.
